document.write("It's great to hear objective truth spoken on the subject of Affirmative Action by someone of colour. Apartheid was horribly wrong, but what is now happening  also has very bad effects on Black folk. Whether they are competent or not, AA appointees still bear the stigma of 'not being good enough'. I have worked with companies who are really mentoring their Black employees, training them up into positions of real competency, and it gladdens my heart. If you just stick someone into a high position they are not yet capable of, they either have to fake it or fail. This simply reinforces the feelings of inferiority many Black folk have as a result of past hurts. It's far better to really work your way up into competence.. doug");

The only success or wealth in sub-Saharan Africa that has ever existed is during the colonial years. Before and after is nothing. South Africa has wealth and infrastucture due to the colonial years. Now that the 'colonials' are leaving, SA will return to what it was before. Nothing. AA will speed up that process (evidenced by the massive drop in standards, increase in violence and corruption).
