document.write("His predictions are correct, the technology we have to day will be primitive in just 20 years.  Fasten your seatbelts!  The interesting question in what will happen to societies and cultures not ready for this?  I imagine they will remain fairly unchanged for two more generations, till around 2050 then the cultural restraints against change will be sufficiently weakened for them to be unable to prevent their teenagers from seeing globalised thinking as more important than local or regional cultures.  This will not necessarily undermine relogion, but it will collapse cultural pratices that cannot stand up to questioning. Of course, cultures may become more repressive in response, but the clock is now ticking.. Mafika");
