The devastating recession has left us with a few scars and although we are bruised, we have also learned some invaluable lessons.

As we gear up for next week's National Budget, we'd like to know what you think Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan should be targeting in his first Budget speech.

Personally, I think more should be spend on combating crime while public services like hospitals should also get more cash. I also think Eskom should be privatised rather than sticking our hard-earned money up their rear-end.

What do you think? Send us your thoughts, your criticisms or your suggestions for the minister.

The National Budget is on 17 February 2010.
