The South African Post Office (Sapo) on Thursday confirmed that the postal strike has come to an end.

Sapo added that services will be fully restored soon.

Postal workers have been on strike for weeks over alleged fraud within the service and alleged salary discrepancies.

This caused delays in the delivery of mail around the country.

Sapo’s Peter Swarts said the culprits will be dealt with.

“There is significant improvement in the operations. We have been making inroads in delivering mail.
