The last of three luxurious Cape Town penthouses has been sold to a Nigerian businessman for R55-million, the Sunday Times reports.
After the final sale, the three properties, located on the top floors of the five-star One and Only Hotel, now have a combined value of R228-million.
The sale of the second penthouse was registered last week. The property was sold as an empty shell, with a private lift, glass-enclased bedroom suites, and a private terrace and swimming pool.
"It is expected to be valued at almost R90-million upon completion," Seeff Atlantic Seaboard managing director Ian Slot told the newspaper.
The first penthouse sold for R110-million in 2008.
