The Private Rhino Owners Association on Thursday said it was shocked by the poaching of seven rhinos in North West.
Five white rhino carcasses were found in Borakalalo Nature Reserve, while another was found in Madikwe.
A seventh rhino was darted and had its horn removed in Nietverdiend, but managed to survive the attack.
The association's Pelham Jones said the situation was out of control.
"According to the information we received, some of the carcasses are as old as three weeks and the most recent incidents are all between 24 and 48 hours."
At least 300 rhinos have been poached throughout the country since the beginning of 2012.
